Weekly Walmart Finds: Some Family Favorites!

Hi friends!! Happy Wednesday!!
How is your week going so far??

Today is going to be a fun day at our house- I let each of the girls invite 3 friends from school over and we are going to have a little going away party! We're going to play some games, splash around in our inflatable pool in the backyard, have a dance contest (per my daughter Charlotte's request) and make ice cream sundaes. It should be a blast- and I am already exhausted thinking about it. HA!

So- I know that I am always showing you "Weekly Walmart Finds" - but I don't necessarily show you the purchases I actually make! I always love other people's recommendations- but I love even more when it's not just a "look at what I found!" but- "I actually bought this and LOVE it!"
I thought it would be fun to show you some of the (many) Walmart purchases I have made recently and how cute they actually are IN PERSON!

So first up is this ADORABLE dress I got the girls a couple months ago! It is seriously the perfect little summer dress- it is lightweight, easy wear and wash- and I really like that it is on the more modest side. It can be SO hard to find appropriate clothing for girls these days!!
I paid $9.97 (each) for their dresses- but they are currently on sale for $8.50!
The dress comes in this super cute chambray/red bandana pattern as well as a more "boho" pattern!

Here are my sweet girls wearing this super fun dress! Charlotte and Cora are wearing their regular size and they fit them perfectly. Celine is kind of in between a 4/5 and a 6/6x- so I went ahead and sized up for her and it fits her great! I just seriously cannot get enough of my kids wearing red, white and blue in the summer!! It's for sure my favorite "look!"
On a whim, Aaron picked up a couple of these Faded Glory Short Sleeve Polo Shirts and he ended up loving them! They are made of a little bit thinner material than the normal polo shirts he wears from J.Crew Factory- but he actually likes that for the summer- as he gets REALLY hot and a lighter weight shirt works great for him! He is also a HUGE fan of Faded Glory's Flat Front Twill Shorts- he has three pairs and every time he wears them- we can't get over the fact they are only $7.00!!
Aaron is a wearing a large in this polo shirt and that is true to size for him. I am telling you- you would never know we paid just $5.00 for this polo shirt- I think it looks so great on him!
Okay- so next up is this ADORABLE outfit set I bought the boys way back in April. I got it for them and put it in their Easter baskets. It is unfortunately all sold out now- but I have to tell you- it was an absolute STEAL! For the polo shirt and shorts- it was $9.94. The shirt is super soft cotton and the cute little shark is embroidered on in the same material as the shorts. It definitely reminds me of an outfit you would get at Gymboree or from Belk!
I mean- don't the boys just look so stinking adorable in them??? I love having the boys wear matching outfits to church- and Walmart is such a great place for me to get those matching outfits because they are at such an affordable price point! And they really are excellent quality! Check out these different outfit sets by the Child of Mine by Carter's line for boys- they are SO cute- and you get 2 shirts and a pair of shorts for under $15!!
And finally- a recent favorite purchase of mine is this is the Essential Woven Cami Tank by Faded Glory and it is only $4.97!! It is flowy, lightweight and looks so cute with skinny jeans or shorts! It comes in a bunch of different colors and patterns too!
Here it is on me- please note I feel EXTREMELY awkward posing for a picture by myself. HA! Fashion bloggers- I don't know how you do it!! I was in my living room and my husband was taking the pictures and I was a hot, sweaty mess ;)
Anyway- I love this little cami!! I am wearing a regular bra with it and a little layering tank underneath it (from Walmart)- but you could totally wear a strapless bra with it too! I just love how easy it is to wear! And in the spring and fall- it is the perfect layering piece under a cardigan or denim jacket!
I would love to know- if you are a Walmart shopper, what purchases have you made recently from Walmart that you are loving??

A couple weeks ago- I picked up this dress and can't wait to wear it to church!! I will be sure to take a (super awkward) picture to show you what it looks like in person!!

Hope you have the BEST day!

  8. Such great finds for your whole family! I love Wal-Mart dresses for little girls and I've got to have Kevin check out those polos. I think he'd be a fan of the thin style for summer. My favorite Wal-Mart finds have been the jelly shoes for girls this summer. They're $4.97 a pair and I bought them for Olive in two different sizes. She can put them on herself and they're really cute. Couldn't pass them up! I need to find Fletcher something patriotic for summer :)
