Hello Monday!
Hi friends!! Happy Monday!!
I'm back!! YAY!
So- the good news is: Charlotte is healthy and back at school. Not so great news- James is dealing with a yucky cold/respiratory junk- so I have to take him to the doctor this morning! I am just praying it is an ear infection or just a virus. PLEASE. NO.MORE.FLU!!
Despite James being under the weather this past weekend...we still managed to have a really good weekend and I finally feel like I am (fairly) caught up on life!
I am not a huge decorator for holidays...but I do like adding seasonal touches here and there...I got silvery pink throw pillows and two SUPER soft velvet "love" pillows for Valentine's Day/February.
I am loving the touch of pink and those gray "love" pillows are insanely soft and so comfy!!!
Does anyone else have a throw pillow obsession like me?? I was texting my friend Whitney, telling her that our guest bedroom closet has pretty much been taken over by my expansive collection of throw pillows! HA!
Just another little touch of Valentine's Day...I picked up this cute sign at Michael's!
Also- here's our menu plan for the week in case you need some inspiration!! I start our meal plan on Saturday and go through Friday! This menu is the kid version....Just a FYI: I always list both the kid AND adult menu plans on my @fullhandsfullheart_fit4life account!
Saturday afternoon, the girls got out all of their Valetines and got to work putting them all together for their friends! I LOVE the kits from the Dollar Spot at Target- and I ALWAYS get them as soon as they put them out- which is early January- because they sell out so quickly!
And not only did they get all of their Valentines done...they did their brothers' Valentines for me!!
I was SO excited they did that!! Talk about helping mommy out!!
And they had a blast doing it!
Raising young ladies is NOT for the faint of heart...but gosh- they are good little helpers and I am so thankful for them!
Sunday was a nice and easy day of church in the morning, hanging out while Marshall napped and then we made a run to Target and then hit the park before coming home for dinner!
I made these two desserts for our Sunday night treat! They are both from Aldi and they are good! We all agreed...not as great as homemade...but definitely yummy and perfect for a quick treat if you don't want to go all out and make homemade treats! You can find them in the baking aisle at Aldi!
And now we're back to Monday!!
What do you have going on this week?
We're pretty packed with work, school, some activities in the evening and then Valentine's Day on Thursday and our school's Valentine's Dance on Friday! Lots of fun things this week!
Sure hope ya'll had a great weekend and here's to having the BEST Monday!
I love those pillows. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe have to work on Valentine’s ASAP!
Enjoy your week!
My three are all fighting off a cold/ yuckiness too and it is no fun. Hope it's not the flu and he's feeling better real soon!
ReplyDeleteI love the pillows. Where did you find them? I hope everyone is feeling better soon. I'm glad you're feeling caught up! I have let myself get way behind on my to-do list. Tomorrow I'm going to tackle it. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteYour couch looks so pretty!! Love your pillow collection :) I also love seeing how helpful your big girls are to you. That's so nice that you can give them jobs like doing the boy's valentines. Praying for James and that the flu will stay far away from your fam
