Tuesday Talk: What a Wonderful Holiday!

Hi friends!!

Happy New Year!!! Can you even believe Christmas is over?!?

How was your Christmas??? We have had a wonderful Christmas break...I have loved having my girls off from school and all of my kiddos home. It has been absolutely GLORIOUS to not have to rush out the door for school and I just really enjoy us all being together as a family.
Now. Don't get me wrong. There have been plenty of "special" moments- but luckily all the fun we have been having has out shined the more, ahem, unpleasant times. HA!  Let me just say this- my girls and James can bring the DRAMA. HA!

Here's a little collage of some fun, special moments we had over the past couple of weeks!
-We hosted some friends and their quadruplets for a Christmas cookie decorating party!
- Aaron and I played Santa and had so much fun setting out all of the kids' gifts! We exchanged our gifts after we got everything set up. Christmas Eve with my number one guy is one of my favorite nights of the year!
- We went to Christmas day Mass after we opened presents (BRIGHT AND EARLY) and we miraculously got a picture of EVERYONE looking at the camera!! It was a Christmas miracle!
- Christmas day selfie!! We had such a fun and relaxing day....it really couldn't have been better!
- New Year's Eve with my love. TRUTH: We both passed out in bed while watching House Hunters waaayyy before it was midnight. HA!
- We had appetizers for dinner on New Year's Eve and we let the girls drink juice out of martini glasses. They didn't think life could get any better! I just love their precious little spirits!

And now we are back to reality. Almost :) My girls are off school today and they go back tomorrow.
I have a doctor appointment today...so we will be ending our Christmas break with a bang! HA! I have already warned my doctor that I will have all 5 of my kiddos with me at my appointment- and his response was, "I am excited to see your crazy!" HA!

Hope you have the BEST day!!

  3. What a great break you had!! Ours came to an end this morning. Emma had to get up for school this morning, but I was awfully lucky because Brian let me sleep until 9am!!! That never happens! He got Emma up and packed her lunch and brought her to school =)
    Have a great day!!!
