Friday Favorites!

Hi friends!! Happy Friday!!

Does anyone else feel like this week went by really fast??
No complaints here...I LOVE when the weekend arrives! ;)

Here's a few FAVORITES of mine from this past week!!

//ONE//
Family walks. I just love them! This past Sunday we went on a walk after the boys had woken up from their afternoon nap and it was just SO nice to get some fresh air! It was cold out- but the sun was shining and it was just what we needed after a weird, rainy first part of our weekend!
//TWO//
My favorite store is hitting it out of the park- AGAIN. Look at these beautiful Valentine's cards!!! Friends- they are at ALDI and they are $1!!! They are like the cards you would see at a boutique stationary store!!
 I picked one up for my hubby...and now I am thinking I should go back and get a couple more!! At $1 each- it wouldn't be a bad idea to stock up and tuck them away for next year!
 //THREE//
Last week- I wrote a post asking all of you if I should cut my hair or not!!
You are all of my FAVORITES because you were SO encouraging and gave me the sweetest advice!
Well- I took in this inspiration picture to my hair stylist...
And this is what happened!!!
Insert wide-eyed emoji!! HA!

 //FOUR//
And here is the final product!!!
It is A LOT shorter than I was planning on going...but my stylist was amazing (it was my first time going to her) and she knew exactly what she was doing.
I totally LOVE it and it's such a fun change!
Along with my getting my hair chopped off...I got some fresh highlights...LOVE THEM- and I am feeling like a new woman!
 //FIVE//
I read this quote earlier this week and it really resonated with me.
I don't know about you...but I sometimes feel REALLY small when it comes to my ability to help others and make a positive impact on this big ol' somewhat scary mess of a world.
These words encouraged me to focus on where I am at RIGHT NOW...and made me realize I can make an impact and shine God's light and love- no matter where I am or where I am going. Here's to giving it all we got...even when it's hard or when we feel like what we have to give is not enough!
I am off to swim laps this morning- it's my favorite workout day of the week (!!) and the girls are going to the Butterfly Ball at their school with their daddy tonight!
I am going to get a couple $4 1/2 dozen bundles of roses from Aldi and make them cute little bouquets!! They are going to love them!!

I hope you have the BEST day and a WONDERFUL weekend!!

I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for their Friday Favorites Link Up!

 Joining Karli for her, Oh Hey Friday Link Up! too!

    1. Thank you friend!! We have had many daddy events where we have had to have an "honorary" daddy step in too-- it's definitely not the same as daddy- but it's so nice to have a good support system who you can count on- isn't it?? Have a great day friend!

What in the world!?!? This week felt like a long one at my house so I'm hoping next week flies by for me :)

  13. I had a slow week but I have a feeling the weekend will go by quickly. Your hair looks great! Those Aldi cards are super cute! Did you hear that quote this week from the Mom Struggling Well podcast? I believe I heard that quote on there this week. It's a great quote and it reminds me to love the people right in front of me.
