Monday Mish-Mash!

Hi! Happy Monday!
How was your weekend??
Our's was pretty darn great!
The weather was PERFECT. Blue skies. Warm Sunshine. Just GORGEOUS!

Saturday morning, Aaron and I dropped the kids off at our friends' house for a couple hours and went off to have our final date before baby #5 arrives!  Even though we have lived in the Indianapolis area for almost 2 years- we really don't get out much- especially outside of the suburb we live in. So- we really had no idea where to go for breakfast...but that's why Google is awesome :) I did a quick search on my phone and we ended up at a Mexican Restaurant that also serves traditional American breakfast diner type food- named Biscuits.
Yes. The name of the restaurant is Biscuits! HA!
The food was SO good- Aaron and I both got super classic breakfast dishes- but the menu also had yummy items like breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros.  The waitresses were super sweet, it took no time to get our food and they were playing hip-hop music (YES!) in the background. Our table was right by a cute older couple who you could tell were "regulars" and a group of hungover college guys. It was SO FUN! HA! Aaron and I love "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" type places and Biscuits was definitely one of those restaurants. I am so happy we stumbled upon it and got to enjoy a breakfast date there!
After breakfast at Biscuits, we went on a little walk :)
LOVE this man SO much! And I love how this picture makes us both look like we have no wrinkles- which is SO NOT the case! HA!
Sunday afternoon, the girls and I were hanging out in the backyard while James was napping and my wonderful husband was detailing my van. We decided we needed to go pick out some new nail polish and headed to Walmart to pick out a new color for the new baby :) I normally only like to wear OPI or Essie nail polish- as I feel like it lasts the longest- but the girls insisted I get this fun pink color. It was super cheap- $1.98- but I am totally interested to see how it holds up! I put my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE top coat over it- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat- so I am hopeful I will be able to go a couple of days without one of my nails chipping.
Here's a picture of my finished nails...the color of my nails in this picture is a little darker than what it looks like in "real life." It is definitely more of a cotton candy pink than fuchsia. It's super pretty and VERY springy :)
And now it is Monday and the start of a new week!

My two youngest girls have some fun things happening at school this week, that I get to be a part of AND my due date is Wednesday!!
We are REALLY REALLY hoping we get to meet Baby #5 by this time next week.
Fingers and toes crossed! HA!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and your week is off to a GREAT start!
Have the BEST day!

I am also linking up with Biana and Meghan!

  9. What a fun day date and I love that google came through for you!! It sounded delicious and so much fun. Glad you got to sneak away one last time before baby arrives. Your girls have great nail polish taste and I'm excited to hear your review of the $2 polish. I've had great luck with Sinful Colors and it's similarly priced. Hope you have a great, baby filled week :) I wonder if he or she will make their debut on your due date?!?!
