Thursday Confessions!

Hi!! Happy Thursday!
How has your week been going?
Despite it not feeling like spring at all- it has been in the 30's and 40's (insert me crying big tears) here in Indianapolis- we have been having a great spring break. My girls have been playing their little hearts out and having so much fun!
Unfortunately 2 nights ago, James woke up with a fever and he has been a pitiful little guy since :(
I am crossing my fingers none of the girls catch his virus...consider they are up in his little face 24/7...I guess we will find out in the next few days! HA!

Soooo....moving on- it's Thursday and time for some confessions! I am joining Jessica for her weekly, Confessional Thursday link-up!

//1// I just bought a bottle of Purex Baby Laundry detergent to wash all of our swaddle blankets and other baby related items- and I CANNOT stop smelling it! It is heavenly! And it makes me SO excited about holding our snuggly new baby in just a few weeks!

//2// Have you seen any of the Lincoln car commercials with Matthew McConaughey in them? I am SO PERPLEXED by them!! Like- why is NOBODY talking?? Why is his hair SO SLICKED back? WHAT IS GOING ON??? If anyone in the marketing/advertising department at Lincoln care about my opinion- I just have to be brutally honest and say those commercials do NOT make me want to buy a Lincoln- HA!

//3// This might really set me apart from the majority- but I am okay with that :) I absolutely DESPISE movie theaters. I haven't been to one in almost 10 years and it is seriously the LAST place on earth I ever want to go. I just can't get over how un-clean they feel (no matter how nice of a theater it is) and I can't ever concentrate on watching the movie- because of said "un-clean" feeling. Also- why does the movie have to be SO loud??

//4//I can't stop thinking about the key lime cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. Except I don't eat dairy- so I am out of luck. I have looked up dairy free key lime pie recipes and all of them call for some weird ingredient- like raw soaked cashews or arrowroot powder. YEAH. Not happening! HA!

And that's all I got for today! My little guy needs some major TLC right now and while I don't like seeing him feel so yucky- the snuggles that come with him feeling under the weather are pretty special  :)

Hope you all have the BEST day!!!

  3. Praying James is better soon!! I am with you on movie theaters!! Although we do go periodically for kids movies, I am pretty grossed out by them. And I can't stand the thought of resting my head - in my mind I have decided I will get lice if I do! :)

  5. Agreed about the commercials! It doesn't make Matthew look good at all, just kind of slimy....yuck! And the one
Where he fights with his dogs about where to go eat? Who does that? Weird...

  6. Poor James!! Hope he gets to feeling better soon and doesn't share his germs with anyone else. Can't believe you're in the home stretch! I'm excited for your newest one to arrive. Those Lincoln commercials are so strange! Kevin and I concluded that they're marketing to men because A. He loves the commercials and wants to own a Lincoln and B. I think they're ridiculous and I'd never buy a Lincoln based on what I saw. So I hope they're selling tons of Lincolns to the MEN they're trying to suck in :)

  8. I'm so over the weather this week -- where are the warmer temps we were having?? I'm with you about the Lincoln commercials (although I've always said I would watch him read the phone book....). However, Hubby declared he wants a Lincoln now...ha, ha. I think Polka Dotty Place is right :)!
