Friday Favorites!!

Hi!! Happy Friday!
Whew! What a week it has been!! This time last Friday, I was in a hospital room, snuggling my couple hours old baby boy- and this morning, I turned off my alarm one too many times, have already had 2 LARGE cups of coffee and am just waiting for all 5 of my precious kiddos to wake up and our house to go from very still and quiet to loud and crazy.
And I wouldn't have it any other way :)

I got home from the hospital Sunday afternoon and while I have spent the majority of this week recovering, taking things nice and easy, it has been such a WONDERFUL week, being home with Marshall and being a family of SEVEN!!

Here are some of my FAVORITES from this very special week we have had :)

ONE
When I started this blog a year and a half ago- I had no idea how many wonderful people I would get to interact with and "meet."  It has been such a FUN journey and I am so thankful for all of you who have taken a genuine interest in my ramblings here on this little blog.
The outpouring of congratulations and kind words that followed my announcement that Marshall had arrived just really blew me away!! Thank you SO much to those of you who commented and have shared in our joy of welcoming precious Marshall into this world!!

TWO
When we got home from the hospital I was greeted with the sweetest sign on our outside chalkboard!! My oldest daughter made sure to write a "Welcome" message for Mommy and Marshall and I just thought it was the cutest thing! I was also greeted with the most GORGEOUS bouquet of flowers from my neighbor!! She was sweet enough to come watch the kids while Aaron came and got Marshall and me from the hospital. She not only brought over the beautiful flowers, but also a super fun bouquet of balloons! To top it all off- she and the kids made me chocolate covered strawberries as a treat! We are seriously SO lucky to have such great neighbors!
THREE
My mom and dad arrived at our house right before I was discharged from the hospital- so they were at our house when we got home! My mom is amazing and is just SO helpful. She is ridiculously patient with the kids and my absolute FAVORITE person (besides Aaron :) to have by my side- especially when I have just had a baby :) My parents had to leave on Wednesday and the kids and I are already counting down the days until we get to see them next!
FOUR
Oh Aaron :) What would I do without this man??
Aaron was able to make arrangements with his schedule to be "working from home" for the next two weeks before he starts a new rotation. He has been absolutely amazing and has taken over so many responsibilities that are normally mine- so that I can rest and spend time with Marshall. He was my angel during my labor and delivery with Marshall- and I am just so darn grateful for him!!
FIVE
My FABULOUS FIVE!!
These 5 precious little people are my absolute FAVORITES.
The kids have been AMAZING and have done SO well with the transition of having Marshall home! To say they are obsessed with him would be an understatement :)
The girls constantly want to hold him and be little mommies to him!
James has done SO well with Marshall and is just so curious and cute with him!! I can already tell they are going to have such a sweet relationship with one another!
So thankful for such a special first week at home as a family of 7!!

I hope you have the BEST Friday and a WONDERFUL weekend!
