Friday Favorites!

Hi friends!!! Happy Friday!!
It has been a fun, busy week at our house!
The weather has been GORGEOUS!
My youngest daughter had her last day of school yesterday and my two older girls have 8 days left!! We are SO excited for summer break to start!!

Here's some FAVORITES from this past week that have warmed my heart and put a smile on my face!

//ONE//
One of the first people to comment on my blog when I started it over 2 1/2 years ago was a wonderful person named Amy. Amy used to write a blog- but now just sticks to posting super adorable pictures of her two precious boys on Instagram. She is an amazing photographer, a SUPER awesome mama and extremely creative. I got a cute card from her in the mail last week and it just totally made my day!! How kind and thoughtful of her to take time out of her day just to send me an encouraging note in the mail!! THANK YOU Amy!!
Snail mail is one of my FAVORITE things ever!

We celebrated our precious Celine's 5th birthday last Saturday and had SO much fun!
Celine requested a "family" party and we played pin the tail on the pony and cracked open a My Little Pony piñata. The weather was absolutely fabulous- so we were able to play outside a TON and enjoy our birthday cupcakes outside! It was an awesome day and I couldn't love these 6 people more if I tried!
Gotta love the $5 selfie stick we got Aaron for his birthday this past January...it's how we get our family pictures these days! HA!

My oldest daughter Charlotte had a class picnic to celebrate all of the students making their First Holy Communion this past week and it was such a FUN time! The picnic was held at a local park by their school and all of the students got to walk there (with supervision, OF COURSE)! The boys and I met up with Charlotte and her class and had the best time playing and enjoying a picnic lunch with her. Time with my Charlotte is always a FAVORITE!!

Speaking of Charlotte, on Mother's Day, she asked me if she could paint my nails :)
I will be honest- initially I hesitated to say "yes" because I didn't really want a messy manicure.
But God totally nudged me and made me realize that messy things can be beautiful too.
So we set up my nail polish in the backyard and I got a FABULOUS Mother's Day manicure!!

She did such an AWESOME job!! She was SO cute and super excited about how lovely my manicure turned out :)
We had to take this picture about 10 times- because every time she took and looked at it- she said, "Mom- we need to re-take the picture- it looks like you have old lady hands." HA HA!
//FIVE//
These 5 precious and WILD kiddos will ALWAYS be my FAVORITE!!!

What are your plans for the day and this upcoming weekend??

I am off to the gym with my 3 youngest kiddos this morning and then we're going to my daughter's preschool picnic!  We don't have any major plans for the weekend except 'Operation Get Some Moving Boxes Packed.'
HA!

I hope you have the BEST day and a wonderful weekend!

I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for their Friday Favorites Link Up!

 I am also linking up with April for Five on Friday!
