Thoughts for Thursday!

Hi friends!! Happy Thursday!!

Time for a little girl talk today :)

So I have a serious question to ask you today.

What is your FAVORITE bra??

See- I told you it was SERIOUS!

HA!

No really- I am in major need of some new undergarments now that I am done nursing Marshall :) I have seen several bloggers recommend this wireless bra by Wacoal and this underwire t-shirt bra by Natori...BUT- I just cannot afford to spend $65-$75 on a bra right now :) I know that you definitely pay for what you get in this "department"- but unfortunately that is just not the price range that fits into our budget at the moment!!
So- here's where you come in- tell me your FAVORITE bras- in the $30 or less range!!
I am okay with wireless or underwire!

I am assuming Target, Walmart, Kohl's, maybe even Amazon Prime has great bras available- I just honestly don't have the time to go try on 50 bras to see if one of them fits! HA!

So- if you could share some suggestions with me- I would be so grateful!
5 babies in 8 years, nursing each one of them and gaining and losing weight with each pregnancy definitely has encouraged gravity to work against me...if you know what I mean!!
Ha! ;)

Thank you soooo much and I hope you have the BEST day!!
Linking up with Annie and Natalie!

  1. I purchase my bras on bare necessities - they have sales and coupons all the time so keep an eye out!

  2. 😬 I wish I could help but bras are SO specific and honestly I spend a lot on mine because I'm a 32DD and I need a lot of support. Good luck!

    2. Aja, I'm the same size (32DD) and would love to know what brands you like, since I am in the same boat as Justine--been nursing for SO long, and it looks like I'm either done, or on a long break. I'm willing to spend a little more for quality. Thanks! --Becky in Oregon

  3. Here are a few random "undergarment" thoughts without going into too much detail. I have worn Olga bras forever. There might be something better out there, but I am a creature of habit. They are well made, supportive, and often at places like TJMaxx. For another member of our household, we have recently made an investment in the Wacoal bras for reasons that the previous comment said. They are sooo nice. It might be worth it to invest in just one. Also, Victoria's secret seems to have upped their game lately and offers some nice supportive bras. We were not that crazy about the Natori brand.

More than anything though, it might be a good idea to go get a fitting at a quality department store or VS. They really know what they're talking about and can suggest styles that would work best for you. When we went in for a fitting, we were off base on both the band and cup size.

  4. Try the aerie brand from American Eagle. I know this is considered a "teenager" store but their bras are very well made and right now are on sale for $20 each. I like the Audrey bra and the Sunni bra from them!

  5. Hi! I randomly found a Maidenform bra at TJ Maxx (I think it's the Maidenform Comfort Devotion Embellished Demi) but it quickly became my all-time favorite. It's really pretty and has lace sides but the lace is lined with the softest material ever!! By far my comfiest bra and I like that it's still nice to look at. Maidenform is carried in a lot of places and I just look for coupons too!

  6. Hi There!!! Thought I'd share, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Natori brand but I agree, the pricing is outrageous UNTIL I discovered that Nordstrom Rack (online) carries the brand for over half what you pay in the regular Nordstrom. So, I get the brand I love but for $24ish a bra. I also use the lingerie bags that I found on Amazon (probably 4 for $9) and I have found that this is a total gamechanger on the life time of my bras.

  7. I only wear VS bras. They are pricey but they really last!! I am definitely coming back to this post for more info!!

  8. I am going to second Maidenform Comfort Devotion - they have several styles (lace, no lace, padding, no padding, etc.) but I pretty much wear them exclusively now. And you can order on Amazon!!

  9. That Natori bra is amazing. I would cut back on something else (one meal out, for example) and splurge. Watch for them on sale at Nordstrom too. So worth it!

  10. I love this one from Target. Simply Perfect by Warner's Women's Wire-Free with Lift Bra TA4003 It's lightly padded so nothing shows through and doesn't wrinkle.
