Friday Favorites!

Hey!!! It's Friday!! YAY!
How's your week been??
It's the first morning of our big garage sale and the weather is going to be amazing! YAY!
Lots to do before we "open up shop"-
so I am just popping in for a quick Friday Favorites post!!

//ONE//
So- our dish towels have seen waaayyyy better days. I finally decided this week to demote all of them to rag status and buy all new dish towels! So- currently how I shop is I give my husband a list- and he stops by the store after work and he will Facetime me to show me options! HA! You do what you gotta do- getting out to Wal Mart with 5 kids by myself is not something I mind doing...but it's a heck of a lot easier if Aaron can get things done by himself :) Anyway- he found these SUPER cheerful dish towels- $1.98 each- at Walmart and I was SOLD!
I love how happy they are- love the price and we bought every single one they had!

Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A was this past Tuesday and we had so much fun!! We have been "dressing up" like cows since 2010- it's such a fun, silly tradition!!
This year- the girls were thrilled because there was not just a boy cow at our Chick-Fil-A- but a GIRL one too!!! And she even had a bow in her hair!! (I am quoting my daughters) HA!
Piling up in a booth and eating free Chick-Fil-A was definitely a FAVORITE moment of this week!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all your sweet comments on my post yesterday about not feeling well. Unfortunately I am still running a pretty solid fever- so I am headed to the doctor this morning to find out if I can be taking an antibiotic to clear this nastiness up for GOOD! SO not a big deal in the grand scheme of things...whenever I am feeling under the weather- it honestly makes me MORE grateful for my health. So many people are dealing with chronic, debilitating, ongoing health issues and my heart breaks for them.
So anyway:)- here's to feeling better and being really thankful that I feel great and am healthy 99.9% of the time!
Gotta boogie- hope you have a wonderful day and an AWESOME weekend!!

I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for their Friday Favorites Link Up!

I am also linking up with April for Five on Friday!
Joining Karli for her, Oh Hey Friday Link Up! too!

And lastly, linking up with KatieTifDella & Caitlin for High Five for Friday!

  2. I cannot WAIT until Chick-Fil-A opens here! I drove by the other day on my way to Hobby Lobby and it's pretty close to looking like an actual building! HA! =)
I hope you are feeling better soon. There really is nothing worse than being sick in the summer...and it's so hard being sick when you have kids. Hopefully you are on the mend very soon.

  5. Facetime shopping might need to become a thing! That sounds like such a nice, hassle free option! Tell Aaron he could be on to something good :) Our dish towels are in sad shape so I am going to have to pick up some new ones to go with our new kitchen. Your cow pictures are darling - Marshall's first cow day!! I hate that you were so sick. Hope you're on the mend. Ain't nobody got time for mom to be sick :)
