Thursday Confessions!

Hi!! Happy Thursday!!
I am happy to be joining Jessica again for a fun round of confessions!
Here we go!

1. I will start off with a REAL random confession: I CANNOT STAND the sound or feel of sidewalk chalk. Like it makes my skin CRAWL and gives me dry heaves.  SO STINKING WEIRD!!  I feel so bad because my girls always want me to draw chalk pictures when them- and I just CAN'T do it!!  This was something  "happened" to me during my pregnancy with my oldest daughter..I gained a crazy CHALK aversion and it has STUCK.

2. I have REALLY bad varicose veins when I am pregnant. Like if you didn't see my face and you saw just my legs- you would probably think I am about 90 years old :( And while I am truly am soaking up every moment of this pregnancy- I will confess that I am counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds I have to wear my medical grade compression hose. I have those suckers on for at least 15 hours a day and while they make if possible for me to go about my day (I literally couldn't stand for longer than 5 minutes without them!!) I am ready to be DONE with them!!

3. I LOVE to watch QVC.  I know. SO WEIRD!  My favorite host is David Venable- he does a regular show called, "Cooking with David." He is a complete nut and I love it! I also love to watch the host Shawn Killinger when she is co-hosting with Isaac Mizrahi. I have never seen two people talk MORE about NOTHING and I think it is hysterical! I have never bought anything off of QVC- although I am constantly tempted- I just love to watch it!

4. I only wash my hair 1-2 times per week. I have A LOT of hair and it is VERY thick. Between using a little dry shampoo and the "messy" bun look- I am good to go! HA! Here's my confession- I am already starting to think about what day I will go into labor and if it will coincide with a "good" hair day (AKA recently washed and curled) or if it's going to happen on a super dirty hair day. And then to show you just how crazy I am- I start to think about if I will have to time to wash, dry and curl it- while I am having contractions??? (I usually hang out at home for awhile before going to the hospital). Um YEAH. These are the thoughts that go through my mind! HA!

Here's to some REALLY random confessions! HA!
Hope you have the BEST day!

Also linking up with Annie and Natalie today!

  2. Haha - yes, the sidewalk chalk thing is strange!! :) I so wish I could wash my hair just a few times a week but between my hair texture and my OCD, I wash daily!!

  3. Ditto on watching QVC! I love their beauty segments and really think they offer some good deals. It is definitely a guilty pleasure that I would not want to admit to many people! We are going to cut our cable in May and that was one of the channels I wanted to make sure we would get on the antenna!

  5. Haha these are awesome confessions. I thought about my hair, make up and what I would look like before going into labor. And then I went into labor after sleeping for awhile, so bed head and no make up on. And I went fast so my pictures are so beautiful, hahaha. Not.

  7. Your hair confession made me laugh because I was thinking the exact same thing last night! I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week and I was definitely debating if they're be time to wash, dry, straightened & curl all while baby's arrival is nearing. Let's send our soon to be babies a memo telling them the best hair days to arrive - hahaha :)
